[TYPO3-english] 6.x: Images always processed/converted into PNGs

Hi,

I also used to get the same problem as you. My suggestion is to wrap 
image with sample html format like:

10 = HTML
10.value = path/to/images/image.gif
10.wrap = <img src="|" atl="" />

To do so the image as animated with gif will not compress.
