Fluid is the greatest gift that was given to the community in the last
years. The approach is solid and works out very well. Start using it and
you'll see the fun, stable and clean view it provides.

Codewise, fluid is easy to learn, learning by example could be a good
choice, eg. the core provides several fluid based extensions, there are
quite some tutorials on the net, and after you got the basic idea, the
reference sheet by typovision is helpful for a while until you are used
to everything. After that, problems are solved with a quick look at the
examples in the header of the view helpers.

A good start is always a 'fluidification' of some own pibase extension
by throwing away the substitute marker stuff, solving it with a fluid
standalone view instead. This way you don't need to interfere with
extbase at the same time. Comparing the results before and after easily
shows its beauty.

Christian
