[TYPO3-english] enable bmp upload files

Hello again

Mhm... in the meantime I saw that bmp-files should be allowed by default. Have you tried the same with another Filetypes like JPG or PNG, does this work? I also found in the German mailing list archive a thread where somebody had the same problem with JPGs. In this case the setting $TYPO3_CONF_VARS['BE']['fileDenyPattern'] = 0 was set. Since I don't know your setup, it's probably worth to check this parameter as well?

Hi Francesc

Have you tried to clear the cache? Like for all configuration changes you will have to clear at least the TYPO3 configuration cache. You will find this option in the Backend (small lightning bolt icon in the upper right corner, next to the logout button).

Hello everybody:

I need to upload bmp files to a typo3 platform.
When I try to upload a bmp file an error appears:

File extension 'bmp' not allowed. (tt_content:309:image)

I have tried to update the
[imagefile_ext] adding bmp type.
If I check install again the [imagefile_ext]section is not changed. If I open localconf.php the new extension has been added..
But when I upload a bmp image the error appears again.
Anyone knows how can I solve this?
