[TYPO3-english] gif_compress

Hi list!

I wonder why methods gif_compress() & png_to_gif_by_imagemagick() are 
defined in t3lib_div instead of t3lib_stdGraphic. It is a problem to me 
cause I work on extension ImagickImg and I would like to overload them 
but t3lib_div is defied as final.

Should I make future request on the forge or is it so important and it 
will never be moved to t3lib_stdGraphic?
