We need more information. What OS are you using, which TYPO3 version etc...

Hi list,

I have a very weird issue. At random times this text is printed on the 
index.php when I access the website

Nothing else is printed, no menus, links etc. only this, like index.php 
were an ordinary .txt file. If I clear the cache, everything is back to 
normal.

Have anyone else encountered this? I have a suspicion that it have 
something to do with indexing.
