[TYPO3-english] Recommended Newsgroup client / Netiquette

Hi

I have a few questions regarding Google Groups (as I can't get friendly 
with thunderbird)

- Is it still considered lame/evil/rude to use Google Groups?

- If yes: can anyone recommend a Newsgroup reader with notifications and 
daily summaries?

- I have tried to get Google Groups Notifications and Daily Summaries 
running for typo3. It works for other groups, like Panic Coda. But not 
for typo3.english. I wasn't sure if that's supposed to work anyway with 
the TYPO3-Newsgroups. Should it, theoretically?

- Should I reply on top or below the quoted text? Or is that not such a 
hot topic anymore?
