extdeval - where to get it and how to get it into TYPO3 when the new turning feature of EM don't stop turning?

Basically the new EM takes very long to load at all. The icons are to near to each other and much to small to be usable i.e. on iPad either. The 4.7.7 EM worked fine on iPad.

Usability should be a priority and not spartanism. Fact is that it is not possible to get an updated ext list loaded as the turning feature does not stop turning.

Therefore you can't import i.e. extdeval. 

Any solutions are welcome which speed up again updating and testing and working with extensions. Thanks!
