Hi,

As far as I know, you must be sure the mail system on your machine is
configured correctly before you can use PowerMail.

The organization team of the international TYPO3 Conference is happy to
announce that the call for papers is officially open for your suggestions.
Please visit http://t3con12de.typo3.org

But before we get to it, we have some more things to talk about before.

This year we will have an open voting for the talks. Everybody with a
typo3.org account will be able to vote on the talks. This way we think we
can have the most interesting lineup of talks we ever had.

So this is call for your ideas and suggestions. If you have an interesting
topic that is worth sharing with the community, let us know.

The call for papers will run until *end of July*. After that we will start
the open voting.

We are very curious what you have to share.

Best wishes,
The T3CON13 team

Hey Thomas.

Many Thanks for sharing

Can you fix the Content on this page:

https://t3con12de.typo3.org/my.html

There it says:

The deadline for paper
submissions is July, 13th

On the Overview page

https://t3con12de.typo3.org/overview.html

June 18th 2012
Start call for papers

July 13th 2012
End call for papers

Just to avoid confusion...

Thanks!

Olivier

Dear community,

I'd like to ask for your opinion and ideas, what should happen with our blog
site http://buzz.typo3.org

Its state is disastrous - it looks ugly, uses an extremely outdated
TYPO3 version, and enabling a user to write own blog posts is just a PITA.

I see a few options:
(1) shut it down without any replacement
    - IMHO no option
(2) integrate it into typo3.org (maybe under Community)
(3) keep the subdomain to make clear that it's user-generated content and
revamp it based on modern software (let it be TYPO3 with any blog extension,
Wordpress, or some other $blogSoftware).

The requirements that I would expect:
(1) every typo3.org user must be able to write blog posts (without an admin
having to set anything up)
(2) teams must be able to have a team blog. Importing team structure from
forge.typo3.org would be amazing
(3) the most important point: we need a team of a few people that feel
responsible and maintain that web site. The server team would provide a
vhost, only the $blogSoftware itself has to be maintained.

Your opinion? You're in?

Kind regards
Steffen

We have an installation (with tq_seo 5.0) that has several Spanish and
English page paths. In particular we have:

/us/en/ (US English)
/ww/en/ (global English)
/us/es/ (US Spanish) and
/ww/es/ (global Spanish)

When we try to set the page titles under the SEO tab in page properties, the
global English and global Spanish both pick up the US versions. I presume
that is because the US versions are found first when the pages are built.

Can anyone suggest a workaround?

Best regards -- Tony

Hello,

Since friday I haven't seen any chaneg in the ter.

Opendata API was the last uploaded extension (on the 22nd) and since then
there appears to have been no change. This is odd beacause I myself have
uploaded 3 extensions since then... and since they have had downlaods other
people can obviously see that they have been uploaded.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Stephen.

Well, July 13th in both cases. Now I am confused - where's the confusion? :)

the download is done in TYPO3-BE which has its own TER-access independent
from http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/

there I also see last upload/update 'Opendata API' from June 22, 2012

But here:
http://www.pascalcollins.de/mein-blog/typo3/extensions/extension-repository-
browser/

are more recent ones - so something is still not working correctly with TER.

Solr seems to be great - in theory, but practically I stick with
Pascal's search engine...

Guys - especially Ingo, who took the credit: great work, but please look
into it once more! Thanks!

I am trying to download this:

but clicking on the link just loads the TER site again...

???

There are also problems with the read online link. Clicking it causes the
extension list to be displayed, you have to view the detail page and then
click "read online"
