[TYPO3-english] Creating a custom BE edit page UI

Hi everyone,

I'm very new with typo3 and I've been working on a project that wants to
take advantage of the ease of using templavoila and at the same time making
it more user friendly by creating custom UI's for the 'add new content
element' page and also for the default 'edit page content' page. For the
adding of a new content element, I've taken advantage of hooks provided by
templavoila and i guess I'm ok with it. My question is, what might be the
best solution to try to customize the default 'edit page content'? The
change that I wanted to make is that I need to add another container beside
the the tabbed table containing all the properties of a content element.
The new container should have a selection of Flexible Content Elements. I'm
thinking it might be big project.
