[TYPO3-english] Access field for content elements - can I restrict the access groups shown?

Is there a way to limit the fe user groups in the content elements access 
field to just the user groups in the current site's storage pid?

At the moment usergroups from all sites appear in the list, like as if TYPO3 
isn't checking  what PID the records have or something.
