Hi Steffen,

i don't think you can modify the query to fetch the subpages (if that's 
what you meant). Workspaces and multilanguage setups would just screw 
that up.


Haven't used a GMENU for a while, but with a TMENU i'd go for 
doNotLinkIt on the item and then build up the link with stdWrap.cObject
to have full access to the currently rendered page record.
You're missing of course any of the special features from GMENU (like 
distributeX/Y or useLargestItem), but in the end you would get something 
like that GTMENU ;) It even includes a hover state:
