[TYPO3-english] "if" clause in HMENU special.directory

I noticed that holy TSref for "if" says
 > If "if" returns false, the menu is not generated

I will read it ten times now ;-)

Anybody suggestions, how to exclude those pages (except specifying them 
as excludeUidList)?
