keep it as simple as possible
dont waste your time to understand things BEFORE you have your site running
Invest about 15 Minutes to get your site up and running incl tt_news, blog, googlemaps, jobboard, staffdirectory, podcasting, gallery, realurl, and a good dozend of ready to go and modify templates

check out
http://demo.webempoweredchurch.org
here are some of the templates you can very easy modify incl a working backup solution for your template or to test out different settings

wec_config can do it

also a forum is ready to go.

----

download the package
best via ssh
install it like described in tutorial and videos on the wec site

throw out or hide Jesus if you dont like it (disable the wec_about extension)

now start inserting all your content for your company. if you like move ariund some pages or branches. choose a template. you will see seting up the site takes less than 15 Minuted but you will probably sit more than a week to fill it with content.

After you have your site with content some of your news pictures staff jobs for jobboard And perhaps some nice video podcasts online start thinking about adding another language.

As you are spanish why not choose english and more

install the languages in globe than install sr_language_menu and install the plugin on a page

choose your languages and how it should work ( flags dropdown etc)

than start reading the first time how to insert a record on a page.

test it ie in a typoscript ce extension so you dont harm your system

do you have the right settings fine copy paste them into the typoscript setup file of your template after you have copied your chosen template with a click in wec_config to fileadmin. now go again to wec config and activate the copied template

afterwards after every step which is working click again copy to the template you just moved to fileadmin and automatic a complete backup of your template extension folder in fileain will be created.

now you can make changes to css js and typoscript like you want and you have the best stuff installed to learn typoscript by example

analyse the ready to go wec template skins

combine recombine mix the different Menu settings and css and you will see how easy it is tomodify the templates exactly to your needs

dont forget to make " unlimited backups" of your fileadmin/ config/ skins/skin_xxxxx

folder so you can switch back any time

insert now your languagemenu record snippet ie just beside the login in header section

choose "5" i.e to start with :-)

next start creating a footer menu and a breadcrump

there are some extensions doing this. take there typoscript and constants and test them out in your site.

learning by example

well you want more js activity in the header - click and the header slides down for the login and a contact form

no problem, build your js and put it onto the js folder and call it via the typoscript setup into the header.ake the mofications to your template ans ie again insert records you already created in your site via wysiwyg.

have fun with TYPO3 and move around colums, modules, many different FCEs or create even your own FCEs and enjoy your site from day 1.

All this and much more - especially SAFE - learning how to do Typoscript you can only have while using the wec starter package which is based on the framework for templavoila.

Forget about tv or classic or fluid etc instead simply choose the best of all an choose the wec for your start

The Framework for templavoila is very very flexible it does not need mapping at all ( only needed to map your own FCEs)
It is full of good valuable typoscript settings you can use and learn to understand what they are doing.

And you wont find any other TYPO3 package which is so well documented for editors and developers and no need to buy a book!!! which os already outdated the moment you are buying it.

if i red your wishes and requirements right this will be the one an only amd best way to go.

Have your company website ready tomorrow and than learn and understand how it is working.

Dont reinvent wheels new over and over as it is already there - all you need and you are looking for.

Drop us a pm if you are facing some difficulties what i doubt:-)
