[TYPO3-english] SOLUTION - Re: 4.4.4->4.5.2 blank backend

Hi,

Once again I was struggling with this and finally I found the devilish monster :)

Situation:
- the FE was working
- the install tool was working
- but blank backend, there was not even login form

I had this Dmitrys good advice on:
"Set displayErrors to 2
Add your IP address to devIPmask"

But nothing, not anything in source code either.

The error and the solution:

In php.ini I had
upload_max_filesize = 2M

And of course it was too low. I changed it to 16M and I got into BE (and the errors!) are now showing just fine :)
