[TYPO3-english] admPanel does not show in FE

Hi list,

Like so many other before me, I am having a problem with the admPanel.

TSsetup:

# activate admPanel
config.admPanel = 1

User (=admin) TS
admPanel {
enable.all = 1
hide = 0
}

In the object browser "config.admPanel = 1" is set.

The panel does not show up when logged in as Admin in BE and going to 
"Web - View'

Search mailinglists and forums, no clue why it doesnt show. Any idea?
