[TYPO3-english] tt-news category for non-admin user

Dear all,

Consider the following situation: i have a non-admin user that makes news-items on a website. I have to explicitly allow news-categories for this user in the user-admin page on the tab 'Extended' for this user to be able to use any category at all.  Even when the user creates his own categories. That's the most inconvenient, and not something that's easy to explain because i myself would think that these categories would show up in the list for the user.

How do i fix this, so that the user can maintain his own categories? Am i missing sth in the acesslist?
