I've observed this occasionally, but I could never reproduce it formally 
and so try and find out why there's no logging. Obviously this does not 
help finding out what your problem is.

Yes, that's what I meant.

Not many I must say, that gives pretty few clues to try and find the 
issue. Could you try adding also no_cache=1 to your URL, to make sure to 
bypass caching, see if that changes anything.
