[TYPO3-english] Database suddenly cannot connect to TYPO3

Hi,
could be that your mysqld.log (do you have access to it?)
reports this annoyng error:

MYSQL HAS GONE AWAY

this is a common problem more and more times submitted to mysql bug site.

Recently I had the same problem. I think this is due to crashed tables.

TYPO3 uses some innoDB tables that cannot repaired as usually.
