No - I have it set. You can see it in the conf, that I provided:
> 'rootpage_id' => '1',


> Also, don't forget the www.example.com domain if needed.

> $TYPO3_CONF_VARS['EXTCONF']['realurl']['example.com'];

It is also there - at the very bottom of my configuration.
