[TYPO3-english] tt_news - 2 list views on one page

hi,

i use tt_news and i would like to display 2 list views on one page.

the first list view is limited to 1 entry and it displays a random item of a
certain category (event of the month).

the second list view should display all entries.

now i have a strange problem. the second list shows all entries except the
one that is displayed in the first list view.

why does this happen and how can i prevent this? :)
