Hi,

Did you deleted TEMP files from typo3conf folder after transfering site to a
new location?
You can try this (enter in URL manualy):
typo3/install/index.php?TYPO3_INSTALL[type]=extConfig&password=joh316
and change joh316 with your own password, this should store it in a cookie,
so afterwards you can login normaly...

After un full local Typo3 4.4.7 installation on Xampp, the whole site +
database have been installed on a webserver (Unix). Website is working fine
(contents, extensions, etc.), all the required direcories have been opened
and the specific config parameters updated.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to login to the Install tool (backend login is
ok). When I enter my install password (not the default one), I always come
back on the "Install tool" login form.

The used password is the right one (if  I use another one, I get a message
telling that this is not the one saved in localconf.php), the temp file
*ENABLE_INSTALL_TOOL *has been created.

Does someone already got this problem? What kinf of checks are done for this
login?
