[TYPO3-english] crawler: table "tx_crawler_process" puffed up

hi list

in the module web / site crawler / crawling processes you see at the 
bottom all the pages where all db-entries are shown.

but when you check the table "tx_crawler_process" you see these 
db-entries marked as "deleted".

so why would i see those entries at all?
i know i can disable this view, but why does crawler not clean it's 
entries although there is a EXT configuration "delete processed items 
after ... days"? ( i found entries that more than a year old, 
alltogether over 10'000 entries)

in order to keep my db not puffed up i have to clean this table by hand, 
which is not recommended at all, right?
