[TYPO3-english] event listing with tt_news and newscalendar

i have to do a website which displays an event listing to the visitor
(concerts,...).

i have looked at various extensions and the combination of tt_news and
newscalendar comes closest to what i need.

there is only one hurdle. some events can occur on several dates. for
example a musican plays a concert on 6-6-2011, 6-8-2011 and 6-12-2011. there
should only be one entry for this concert but it should show up at all three
days in the calendar.

how would you handle this? how could i add an array of dates (or something
like that) to the tt_news table? and do you think it would be hard to add
support for this to the calendar extension?

i would be very thankful for any tips and ideas! :)
