[TYPO3-english] Inreasing session lifetime for anonymous fe users?

Hi all,

can someone answer my three questions?:
1) What exactly does "permalogin" do?
2) And what is the field "ses_permanent" in the table "fe_sessions" for?
3) How can I influent the livetime of a session?
