[TYPO3-english] [TYPO3-v4] Announcing TYPO3 4.5alpha2

Dear TYPO3 friends,

Today, the TYPO3 community released the second alpha version of TYPO3
4.5. We continue on track to reach the goal of releasing 4.5.0 with Long
Term Support in January 2011.

We ship an Introduction Package with this second alpha release which
allows people to test the new features right away. You can of course
also opt to upgrade an existing installation to the new 4.5alpha2
version, but keep in mind that this is still a snapshot of our
development so far, and more changes and fixes will be included in
further releases.

During the next weeks we expect major improvements for the next alpha3
release, because of major events that will influence the development:

* T3CON10 in Frankfurt: A Core Team meeting before the main event will
allow us to discuss open issues. The release team will present the
current state of the 4.5 development during the T3CON10 itself.
* Code Sprint in October 14.-17. in Stuttgart: Core team and active
developers will join forces on a 4 day sprint. We expect to have many
new features included in this phase, ready for testing in alpha3.

Alpha3 is scheduled for 20th of October.
