[TYPO3-english] Send test email from install tool in TYPO3 4.4.2

Hi,

I have some troubles about sending emails from sites that has been 
upgraded to TYPO3 4.4.2.
Even the Send test email in the install tool won't work.
It does not give any error messages, but the email is never received.

If I test et from an old TYPO3 installation, everything works fine.
What did they change in TYPO3 4.4+?
