[TYPO3-english] acronym: delete highlighted text element

since version 1.8.9 of rtehtmlarea (TYPO3 4.3.3) the behaviour of 
creating a _new_ acronym is incorrect.

it now deletes the highlighted text element and just inserts the correct 
tag <acronym title="..."></acronym>, i.e. it doesn't behave like the 
other inline tags.

this behaviour only occurs in the WYSIWYG mode.

when i insert it manually in the html mode, the tag is correctly written 
to db and shown in FE (which only means that the configuration of the 
acronym tag is correct).

and it doesn't occur when changing a already defined acronym.

has anyone a hint?
