[TYPO3-english] TYPO3 4.4.2 and irrational Clear all caches

Hi,

I have a very strange problem: the Clear all caches lightning icon appears and disappears from a beuser. First I didn't get it to appear at all when I inserted into begroup options TSconfig

options {
   clearCache.all   = 1
}

Inserting it into beuser TSconfig helped and the icon was there for a moment, but now it disappeared again! The beuser also reported that the Clear cache all didn't do it's job; the cache didn't clear and the page didn't get updated even though new data was there.

What might cause this? A bug or an extension?
