Yes, the DB is a problem.
My approach is more suiteable for doing progamming stuff, like fixing
bugs/implement new features in one of the own extensions. If it works
local, I could push it to the server.
And if there a changes in the structure of the DB I could do a "Compare"
in the Install Tool.

Its not really handy if you want to create real content on the local
site and push it to the server.
