[TYPO3-english] My HTML template code gets eaten by frontend

I have had my site installed at TYPO 4.2, after I moved it to TYPO 4.3 the
code is being output chunked and where I had such descriptors like </form> i
get </form</form>
also at tt_news I everywhere get <strong></strong> and <br /> tags visible
as well as HTML chars like &amp;

I tried that with typo 4.4, which is now installed there but no change.

I use automaketemplate, but tried a fresh install with templavoila with the
same effect.
