[TYPO3-english] Indexed Search returns duplicate results

Hi,

I have indexed search configured on my website.
Recently I've found that search returns duplicate results [results from the
older versions of the pages].
I had observed the result set parameters. They refer to the same page, but
different versions.
Can someone please suggest me how can I configure indexed search so that it
displays the results from only the latest version of the page?
Indexed search displays the results with parameters as shown below:

result1
Size: 23 K - Created: 16-10-08 - Modified: 16-01-10 10:20
Path: /Library../MyBlog/Blogentry 

result2
Size: 23 K - Created: 16-10-08 - Modified: 03-07-10 11:44
Path: /Library../MyBlog/Blogentry 

result3
Size: 23 K - Created: 16-10-08 - Modified: 12-07-10 16:21
Path: /Library../MyBlog/Blogentry
