it doesn't matter where the RSS is placed. The links lead to a page with 
tt_news single view. Have a look at the source XML of the RSS. Are the 
links there with complete path (http://www.example.com/foo ...) or are 
they relative?

Try to disable CoolUri for the page with RSS feed to see if it would work.
