[TYPO3-english] Pproblems getting typo3 running at one.com's server

First: you should install lastest version, i.e. 4.2.12 of old stable 
(http://typo3.org/download/packages/)

Second: IF you have to install version 4.2.6: line 4838  of 
class.tx_install.php should read like this:

charset='.($GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['BE']['forceCharset']?$GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['BE']['forceCharset']:'iso-8859-1').'"

If it does, check typo3conf/localconf.php if there is a value set either 
for $GLOBALS['TYPO3_CONF_VARS']['BE']['forceCharset'] or for 
$TYPO3_CONF_VARS['BE']['forceCharset'] and it's content.

Which php version is running on the server, which os?
