[TYPO3-english] Beginner Needs help getting his Flash Banner to work

I got some help from Experts Exchange, and after I had given absolute
path values for the .swf files etc. It worked. This is the explanation
that I received.

The problem is that Flash automatically sets a virtual base directory to
where the HTML file that's embedding the SWF is not the location where
your SWF file exists... So, originally you were trying to load a SWF
from path/to/swf, but all other corresponding files were searched from
the root where the HTML file is...
So, we basically set the BASE parameter to the location of the SWF file
so that it will be looking for files from the given directory...
Well, that's the gist of it...
