Betreff: [TYPO3-english] Getting the fe_user object to work with a seperatesystem

Hi,

In my organisation we are having a system that used to authenticate
against a LDAP database and that was used as the user database on the
former organisation page.

Now we turned to use TYPO3 as our complete backend, including only
storing users in the fe_user table and having no LDAP database what so
ever (since the server with the LDAP database broke down..).

But, we are having this application that was developed using a user
object from the old (non TYPO3) system.. We would like to have that
integrated with the fe_user table, but im not sure how to handle this
situation?

Does anyone ever had a issue like this or maybe being able to give a
hint to solve the issue.

Best regards,

Søren
