[TYPO3-english] generate link problem in RTE

Hello,

Sorry for sending this email several times.
When I put a link in RTE, it generates with a prefix before what I put.

  1.. What I hope to display: <a class="external-link-new-window" title="Opens external link in new window" href="http://www.glyndwr.ac.uk">needs</a> 
  2.. Atm it shows: <a class="external-link-new-window" title="Opens external link in new window" href="typo3/http://www.glyndwr.ac.uk">needs</a>
There is a "typo3/" before my link address. Actually when I click the link, it goes to: "http://2evolv.org/glyndwr_webdev/typo3/http://www.glyndwr.ac.uk"

I'm a rookie in typo3, and know only a little abt TS.

Really need your help.
