agreed, it doesn't seem to be a server configuration issue then. And the
links themselves look fine I suppose.
However, looking at your website quickly:

Are you sure it's CoolURI, and if so, do you have other examples of URLs not
working once they exceed 45 chars ? Maybe it only occurs under 'links' ? Is
there nothing 'wrong' with the page you link to, such as that Hide is
checked or something ? Not saying you might have overlooked anything like
that, but who knows, right ?
