[TYPO3-english] WHERE TO POST WHAT!

Hi all
I followed the discussions long time now here on the mailinglist and one
thing always happens over and over again and it would be quite easy to
prevent this:

THE PROBLEM:
People are asking where to post what? Or they are cross posting because they
are unsure where to get an answer, or they get bad often unfriendly
responses from people because they posted wrong.
A Problem occurs in most cases because an Extension is not working like it
should. Some Extensions have separate groups some not.

THE SOLUTION:
There is only ONE Place which everyone who deals with TYPO3 knows quite
well, even the newbee. It is the TYPO3-TER. So here is the place where we
should solve the problem!
As EVERY extension is listed in TER which we discuss also here on the lists
the easiest way would be to simply add a button or form there which posts a
request direct on the mailinglist afterhe registered with TYPO3.org!!! and
checked a box that he wants to join this mailinglist. Now the same request
gets send also to the mailingaddress of the person who has the request. The
HELP-searcher will receive the answers to his request directly to his own
mailbox. When he now replies to this mail he is direct on the mailinglist!

There should be also a link in each Manual to the support forum/mailinglist.

It should be the responsibility of the developers if they want to receive
feedback or not - so it will be their responsibility to forward a mail send
by the TER feedback to the place where it will also be received by the
developers. It really does not make sense that the one who is searching for
help needs to check if there is a googlegroup or perhaps a yahoo goup or
something on myspace or linked or elsewhere before he posts on the
mailinglist.

Please developers add a link to the place where you want to receive support,
sponsor and feedback mails to your typo3.org account in TER and PLEASE
TYPO3.ORG webmin add the USERMAIL to the feedback form too, so that the one
who send a mail ALWAYS will receive a mail into his inbox to, which will
contain the places where and how to get more help!

Thanks a lot!

Andi
