[TYPO3-english] Unsearializing problems after converting to UTF-(

Hi everybody,

we encounter Problems with the conversion from an latin1 encoded site 
switching over to utf-8. The mapping from tv gets lost as we imported 
the dump to the new machine.

What we did so far to solve this:

- Converted the html-Files properly to UTF-8
- Dump was UTF-8
- Copied the content of templatemapping in tx_templavoila_templobj from 
phpmyadmin via texteditor to the new machine.

None of that worked out. I saw this 
http://bugs.typo3.org/view.php?id=10983 in the bugtracker, is this meant 
for new sites or could this be our cure?!
