[TYPO3-english] Button for a certain fe_user

Can't you just add TEXT content with typoscript to the page and put it in a
condition so that only the user you want sees it?

Something like:

# For user id 12
[loginUser = 12]
temp.phpLink = TEXT
temp.phplink.value = link goes here
[global]
