[TYPO3-english] anchors "c123" versus "123"

Hi all,

For some reason the anchor links to content elements are created as 
c123, but the a tag name is there without "c", plain 123. So the anchors 
don't work of course (TYPO3 4.1.10). I don't have CSS styled content 
activated since I'm building a simple newsletter system which should 
have as little css as possible :(

Could the lack of CSS styled content be the reason or could this be due 
to some extension? Anyone else experienced similar?
