right. it worked and i have back my version 2.11.1.

and after also clearing the cached files in typo3conf i can again enter 
the page with the plugin.

interestingly the patch destroyed also my layout.
there must be some instruction in it that is not conform with CSS/xhtml:
the columns were not side-by-side any more, but one below the other 
(only on the page with the plugin).

and: the first line of the plugin description field is empty.
there is nothing to find out what plugin this empty line would be for.

and: in the FE the plugin doesn't even show any more.

so the process of error search re-configuration from scratch starts 
again. this EXT is really not a showpiece of t3.
