[TYPO3-english] mnogosearch and TYPO3SEARCH_ comments

Hi all
I'm trying to force the mnogosearch extension to index only a portion of 
each page, that is the real content excluding menus, headers and so on. 
According to the documentation, you should be able to define the portion 
of pages you want to index by marking it with some special HTML comments:

<!--TYPO3SEARCH_begin-->
   (...)
<!--TYPO3SEARCH_end-->

This does not work for me: some parts of the pages, outside the comments 
above, are indexed too.
My config:

Typo3: 4.2.5
mnogosearch: 3.3.6
mnogosearch ext: 2.2.0

Any hints?
