[TYPO3-english] Any reason to leave kickstarter installed all the time?

Hello list,
Any reason why the kickstarter extension couldn't be removed when you aren't
using it?   I don't think extensions built using the kickstarter require any
resources from that extension after they are built.  Is that correct?

It seems to me like this might be a (small) way to slim down a Typo3
instance.
