[TYPO3-english] extensions style directorys

Hi,

i am using TemplaVoila and most of the extionssions have there own  
templates css en html. usualy i forward a style of extension to  / 
fileadmin/template/main/css directory with typoscript. Fore example  
like this :

# tt_news template
plugin.tt_news.templateFile = fileadmin/template/ 
tt_news_v2_template.html

This way i kind of seporate style from the functional side of an  
extension.


My question is, what r the benefits of this methode? dose it have a  
influence for a fast loading of the webside? And what are the benefits/ 
disadvantages  if leave the style of extension on default directory.  
Whis is on typo3conf/ext/   ?
