Looking at the code, it seems to be quite straightforward to configure, 
you seems to only need to specify your GoogleKey and a few other 
information in Constant Editor and then include the plugin 
plugin.ltggooglesearch_pi1 either as a content element (if available) or 
from your TypoScript setup.
