The code looks OK. Try to add this setup to your template:

plugin.tt_news.getRelatedCObject.20 = TEXT
plugin.tt_news.getRelatedCObject.20 {
data=register:newsAddParams
wrap = Related news URL params: "|"
}

it should say sth like "&tx_ttnews[tt_news]=222"

I really don't know what's wrong here.

Is here anybody who has related news working?
