[TYPO3] typo3 4.2 how to enable split preview again

Greetings,

The 3-frame view should display if the Frontend Preview checkbox is
unchecked.  Of course this is on a per-user basis.

If checked, it will display a frontend preview instead of a compare in
workspaces.
