[TYPO3] typo3 4.2 problem with nit.php

*Dear list,

I have moved one of typo3 site to a new server and migrated it from 4.1
to 4.2
After the upgradation and replacing the index.php the site gives an
error as below

*/home/bergundtal/public_html/typo3/index.php* on line *63

the php.init file is already in the typo3 folder. could any one kindly
give me a clue behind this problem ?
