[TYPO3-english] SPEED comparison of JS Frameworks

I think prototype is not that bad.

As a comparison:
PHP is neither the fastest nor the nicest programming language, still we are
using it quite willingly.
(I know some people beg to differ, but so do some people regarding jquery
vs. prototype)

The good thing about prototype is that there are tons of things out there
that build on prototype (pretty much like the reason why so many people use
Windows and not another, "superior" OS).

I wasn't pointing out peppy.
I found the site cool because of comparison of time used by frameworks.

And compared prototype to jquery, prototype is poor.
It consumes 4x more time than jQuery.

And for an *Enterprise* CMS I don't think its good to use frameworks who are

slow and is much tooo big.
Which means it takes too much time to load the code and then plus, it takes
up to 4 times more time to execute code....
These negative things you don't have with e.g. jQuery or other frameworks.

Thats what I wanted to say...
